International Conferences

working_session_8th_Danube_Conference_2006We organize our annual international multidisciplinary conference, under the name “Danube – River of Cooperation”, since 1989. Every year there is a focal point (topic) for the conference, approached from various angles. The course of the conference includes both several, more specific (narrower field) round-tables and workshops and plenary sessions.

Since 1996 the round-table conference “Sustainable Use of Natural Resources: Water and Forest” is held every year: at first as a session of the annual conference (organized in autumn), and since 2000 as a separate international conference (organized every year in the spring).

During these 30 years over 2000 experts, scientists, people from the field of culture and arts took part in the conferences.

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration for each us and to me especially, with all the special arrangements. They have been very much appreciated and made my trip to Kladovo a memorable one. It was extremely stimulating to meet the other participants of the conference. I hope this is the beginning of our collegial bonds leading to more deep and enriching ones with the passage of time.
Dr. Vera Mehta, UN Political Affairs Officer

Thank you for the excellent meeting you have arranged in Belgrade on the Danube river because I have learned many interesting aspects of the Basin.
Vettor Giusti, World Tourism Organisation, Regional Representative for Europe

I want to thank you again for the valuable contribution to which your conference has led in terms of cooperation in the Danube basin countries.
Dr.Dr. Bernd H. KORTSCHAK Lecturer in Logistics at the University of Economics, Vienna
