Conference Invitation: The Role of the Organisations of Civil Society in Achieving the Goals of the EUSDR

International Scientific Forum “Danube – River of Cooperation” (ISF“DRC”) the interdisciplinary association of experts and researchers devoted to international cooperation in the field of sustainable development and sustainable use of natural and cultural-historical resources in the Danube region INVITES YOU TO TAKE PART IN THE

23rd Conference “Danube – River of Cooperation”

on September 23 – 24, 2012

under the title:

ACHIEVING THE GOALS OF THE DANUBE STRATEGY
– THE ROLE OF THE ORGANIZATIONS OF CIVIL SOCIETY –

ISF“DRC” is devoted to the implementation of the EU Strategy for Danube Region (EUSDR) since the goals of the EUSDR are the same as the goals ISF“DRC” advocated for the past twenty three years. In accordance with this, ISF”DRC” joined the DANUBENET for NGOs starting to prepare partnerships in a wide circle of NGOs for projects with which it will contribute to the implementation of the Action Plan of the EUSDR.

Marking the World Rivers Day opens up horizons in finding solutions for sustainable use of rivers.

As the International Scientific Forum “Danube – River of Cooperation” starting since 1989, with its commitment to closer regional cooperation in the Danube Basin for sustainable development, was the forerunner of achieving such cooperation through the Danube Strategy of the European Union, so are many project ideas conceived in the civil society the precursors of very important projects aimed at environmental protection and sustainable use of natural resources in the Danube basin region. For this reason this conference will provide significant space for the presentation of project ideas.

Please indicate your intention to take part in the work of the Conference to our e-mail address office@danube-cooperation.com and forumdanube@yahoo.com. If you would like to present paper or project, send abstract by September 15.
